Academics is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and resilient tutor to work with a child with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Autism.

Deliver individualised, sensory-led learning tailored to the child’s needs

Create a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment

Support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement

Work closely with families, professionals, and Academics’ support team

Sessions may take place in the home or alternative provision
???�? Who We’re Looking For
? Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS)or
? Exceptionally experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong SEND background
You will have:

Proven experience with PMLD and/or Autism and SEMH

Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Confidence adapting learning in highly personalised ways
